Firefox 4.0 Released

Officially it isn't released until tomorrow but it can be downloaded unofficially from this page on the Mozilla FTP site.

Adblock Plus Problems

Recently I started having problems with my blog. My Spread Firefox & Thunderbird buttons weren't being displayed & after some searching I eventually discovered they were being blocked. I managed to solve the issue by hosting the images on my Wikispace.

Useful Thunderbird Add-ons

Here is a short list of add-ons which I have installed in Thunderbird.

• Enigmail: If you need to encrypt or decrypt emails, get this.
• Lightning: A version of the Sunbird calender program.
• Buttons: Adds a button for viewing emails as text or html.
  

Enigmail Thunderbird Simple Fix

After installing Enigmail in Thunderbird, I discovered that I could no-longer view HTML emails. There's an extremely simple fix for this problem here on the Enigmail forum.

Clipmarks Add-on

I found out about the Clipmarks add-on on the 'Getting Started with Firefox' page. Apparently it's an add-on which lets you bookmark part of a webpage instead of the whole page. I haven't tried it yet but it looks useful.
