The warning can be suppressed by using the following...

-Wno-comment

Safari 4 Preferences

Recently I came across this blog post which shows Mac users how to customize some of the features in the browser. I'd got the MinGW complier installed, (which installs a copy of strings.exe) so I though that I would search the Windows binary for the same debug information.
