XAMPP: Tomcat Server

Just installed the Tomcat Server for XAMPP & kept getting the following message...
The admin/config user (xampp) for Tomcat Server has an old password (xampp)

Someone on the XAMPP forum was having the same problem but never got it solved.

All that needs to be done is turn off the Tomcat Server then locate tomcat-users.xml which should be located at C:\xampp\tomcat\conf & change the name & password. Then just restart the server.

MyPasswordSafe: Ubuntu

There is a version of Password Safe for Ubuntu, you can install it be typing into a terminal...

sudo apt-get install mypasswordsafe

After installation you'll need to create your own menu launcher for it, the image below shows you how my launcher looks.

A Command-line version can be found here.

Password Safe

Is a wonderful little program that I've been using for a while now. I can store all of my passwords in a special protected file & it also has a built-in password generator. You can download it here.

Echo Basic

I found this site a few years ago when I was looking for a password program & found this.

It features a lot of BBS postings from the early nineties regarding QBASIC.
