Coding in Groovy
Groovy is a language that compiles to Java bytecode & can be used wherever Java can. I've just downloaded & installed the Windows version, anyone else who's interested in Groovy should check out this thread on the Ubuntu forum.

Your Sinclair: Top 100 Games
From Issues 70 - 74 of 'Your Sinclair' magazine listed the top 100 games which were then available for the Sinclair Spectrum Computer. Bandersnatch BBC Documentary
Back in the 1980's 'Imagine' software were working on a revolutionary game called Bandersnatch. Sadly the company went out of business before the game could ever be released. The BBC were actually making a documentary about 'Imagine' while they were going out of business & it can be seen here.

Wrox: Assembly Programming
The 'Professional Assembly Language' book published by Wrox contains a lot of programs written in the GAS syntax. Sadly they use a few Linux commands which means they aren't as cross platform as they could be.
On the Wrox forum here, there is a solution to this problem though.
